Traker Engineering.

Traker Engineering is a long-established engineering company in South Wales with an excellent reputation for fabricated metalwork, with an emphasis on serving the gaming machine industry, as well as the aerospace and medical sectors and general fabrication.
We invested in Gary Henley’s 2015 Management Buy-in, and supported the company again in 2022 when new equipment and extra workspace were needed for growth. The latest investment was a £230,000 loan to purchase state-of-the-art laser cutting and metal folding machinery, as well as expansion into an adjacent factory which fortuitously became available.
The move will enable Traker to target new markets including solar panels, metal furniture and white goods. It can now bring all work in-house removing the need for sub-contractors, and this will undoubtedly increase profit margins and efficiency. Following the deal, the firm is aiming to double turnover to £2 million and create new jobs.
"UKSE supported the Management Buy-In and are now backing the company again with this growth package to help us move to another level. Their role has been crucial, and I am very grateful to them."Gary Henley, MD
How we did it.
We kept in close touch with the management after the Buy-in and were impressed by their performance. So, when we were approached with the plan to move the company to another level, we were able to move quickly and help them seize the opportunity of taking the adjacent workspace when it became available and buy the new equipment they needed.
The results.

New Markets
