Industro Engineering Group.
UKSE’s strong relationship with INDUSTRO– supporting with investments, guidance, and office space – started in 2016. Since then, the business has expanded rapidly from a start-up with a team of three to a group with a turnover of more than £10m
INDUSTRO Engineering Group now directly employs 54 people in companies covering a range of engineering services – including design, structural, civils, electrical and inspection – that frees its clients from the complexities of dealing with a number of different service providers. It now handles major projects, including at Teesworks and HS2, on Teesside and across the UK in key sectors from oil and gas, petrochemical and nuclear to renewable energy and rail.
How we did it.
A loan from our Regeneration Fund helped the start-up business with working capital along with office space in one of our Innovation Centres. Through the years of rapid growth, we provided two further investments, additional office and workshop space until the company needed its own larger premises and fabrication facility along with further initial investments in the other group companies.
The results.
