UKSE strengthens Humber presence with appointment of new Regional Executive Andy Bradley.
UKSE has appointed experienced banking and finance specialist Andy Bradley as Regional Executive.
Setting up a new office at Bridgehead Business Park in Hessle, Andy will lead UKSE’s investment activity across Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and the surrounding areas, working directly with local businesses to support growth and job creation.
Andy brings more than 30 years of experience in banking and finance to the role, having held senior positions at Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland. His career began at the age of 16 through a YTS scheme with Barclays, progressing through branch and personal finance roles to become a Personal High Net Worth Bank Manager.
He later joined RBS, where he worked as a start-up business manager before becoming a Business and Commercial Manager, supporting companies across Yorkshire, the Humber and Lincolnshire.
Following his banking career, Andy spent five years at Hull City Council delivering a European-funded programme designed to help businesses access finance, including grants, loans and equity investment. He later joined the authority’s inward Investment Team, supporting both new and existing businesses to secure funding and growth in the region.
Joining UKSE – an organisation which works with SMEs looking to take the next step with small loans and equity finance – with immediate effect, Andy will now draw on his past experience to support business owners in achieving their growth objectives.
In his new role, Andy will focus on building relationships with local SMEs, understanding their ambitions, and providing tailored investment solutions to support their development. A key priority for his first year will be establishing UKSE’s presence across the Humber and embedding the organisation within local business communities as a trusted partner.
Commenting on his appointment, Andy said: “I am thrilled to become part of the UKSE team, and I am looking forward to helping businesses across the Humber grow and create new job opportunities with UKSE investment.”
Steve Lyon, Regional Manager at UKSE, said: “We are incredibly pleased to welcome Andy to the team.
“His extensive experience and deep understanding of the local business landscape make him ideally placed to support companies looking to grow.”
